Resident Evil 4 News

Sony's Screen Gems is planning a September 17, 2010 release for Resident Evil 4, which could go by the title Resident Evil: Afterlife. The third film, Resident Evil: Extinction, left the door wide open for another installment, which will take place in Tokyo, Japan. Paul W.S. Anderson revealed late last year he was indeed writing the next film, but no word on whether he will direct. We've learned from a studio insider that Sony is looking to get Resident Evil: Afterlife into theaters by September 17, 2010. That's according to an internal memo circulating through the offices there. No word on when production will begin.
