Traffic on the LA freeways may have prevented him from arriving at the Golden Globe Awards in time to receive his award for best song, but Prince created some serious celebrity gridlock afterwards as stars rushed to attend his post-Globe party at the Forbes Penthouse in Beverly Hills. The guest list included power couples Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, and Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher; as well as famous exes Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake. Timberlake was lucky that his invitation wasn’t rescinded after accepting the best song Golden Globe award on Prince’s behalf by stooping down to mock his short stature.

INSIDE NOTE:
According to both People magazine and the New York Post’s Page Six, Timberlake and Diaz got into a heated argument during Prince’s bash, despite having spoken cordially to each other during the Globe telecast and at InStyle’s annual afterparty earlier in the evening.
Witnesses say that Timberlake was talking to actress Jessica Biel when Diaz rolled up. Biel smartly walked away and left the former lovers to argue in front of everyone.Soon, they took their spat into a side room, where the shouting match reportedly continued for another 40 minutes. When they came up for air, Diaz was reportedly composed, while Timberlake held his head in his hands and “slammed his fist (down) into a cabinet,” a witness told People. Other stars at the party inside the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons hotel who may have witnessed the heated exchange included Penelope Cruz, Lindsay Lohan, Leonardo DiCaprio, Chris Rock, Drew Barrymore, Sienna Miller and Jamie Foxx.
