FASHION is here to stay........

We were pleasantly surprised to open our inbox this morning and find hundreds of emails from our readers thanking us for adding FASHION to our bureau coverage. We have to admit we had such a glamorous and sparkling evening last night -- we were invited to attend Karl Lagerfeld's exclusive party celebrating the make-over of the CHANEL SoHo store. (see photos from below)

And our fashionista about town, the posh Penny Patterson, attended Christian Siriano's show at the new home for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week -- the fabulous landmark Lincoln Center. Penny will be reporting all week as she covers NYC's Fashion Week.

And we are thrilled to announce that uber Hollywood, Fashion and Celebrity insider, Clif Loftin, will be reporting for the Bureau from New Zealand Fashion Week later this month. Clif will make the journey to the ends of the earth to help celebrate the 10th Anniversary of New Zealand's Fashion Week. Fashion Week Founder, Pieter Stewart and her gorgeous daughter Myken, have built NZFW into a global fashion institution that has become a major player within the international fashion industry -- putting New Zealand Fashion and its designers on the map, and becoming a major fashion force to be reckoned with.
